Southeast Caucus of Nigerian Medical Association Extols the virtues of late Dr Anagha Ezikpe

 Saturday 22nd January, The leadership of Nigerian Medical Association Southeast Caucus led by Dr Benjamin Umezurike,  paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Dr Anagha Ezikpe. 

Receiving the leaders on behalf of the family, Engr George Ezikpe, described his late Father as a man of many attributes with deep love for the medical profession and thanked the Doctors for the condolence.

Earlier in his speech, the caucus chairman, Dr Ben Umezurike extolled the virtues of late Dr Ezikpe and lamented on the loss of a doyen of the Medical Profession. He described late Ezikpe as a gentleman who was a voice for the profession. As a past 2nd Vice President of Nigerian Medical Profession, he gave his best to build the medical practice in Nigeria as a leader. Dr Umezurike used the opportunity to encourage all the Doctors to take solace in the exit of Dr Ezikpe and prayed that God will fill the vacuum created.

State Chairmen of NMA in the 5 Southeast States were part of the entourage which also included members of State Officers Committee of NMA in Abia State. The leaders took time to sign the condolence register after a prayer for the family by Dr EC Iwuoha.
